Shutter Sounds
A short video showing the differences in shutter sounds between the Pentax K-2000 and Pentax K-7. The K-2000 is the entry level camera with a coarse sounding shutter, and the K-7 is the top of the line model which adds a lot of refinement. Both are capable of taking excellent pictures. I show this example so a person coming from one of the other Pentax cameras (K10d, K20d, K200d, K-2000, etc) can get an idea of the refinement in the shutter.
Enjoy,
Eric

crap, the K-7 is fast ! haha, nice Vid, thanks
ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to see the difference with the new K-x which has upgraded to 4.7fps.
ReplyDeleteOn the video, I didn't notice too much difference in shutter sound between the 2 cameras. Having used both I know that the K2000 sounds more metallic. The sounds vary by lens too.
I would like to try the K-x too. I wouldn't sell the K-7 for sure, as I really do like the features of that body. I imagine the K-x is going to be like the K-2000. The K-7 is certainly more refined feeling.
